Ace comedian Basketmouth has revealed why he ridiculed Wizkid during his colleague, Davido’s traditional wedding weeks ago.
It would be recalled that after the release of his arch rival, Davido’s pre-wedding photos, Wizkid sparked controversy with his cryptic tweets.
Basketmouth while reacting said that Wizkid’s post was unnecessary and that Davido’s wedding was making waves social media.
However, in a recent interview, Basketmouth revealed that he intentionally used Wizkid’s shade in his tweet as a marketing strategy since he knew it would create chaos.
He said:
“Wizkid is my guy, what I did was a marketing technique, I knew it was edgy, it would get people talking and it did what I expected it to do, it worked in my favour”.
