Dear Sons and Daughters of Abba,

With heartfelt greetings and a strong sense of unity, we, the Abba Youth Forum, write to share with you the vision for the forthcoming Abba 2026 Carnival, themed  “The New Dawn.”

This event is born out of our collective desire to celebrate our heritage, strengthen our unity, and promote the cultural identity of Abba Ancient Kingdom as a proud and progressive community.

The carnival is scheduled to hold on 1st of January 2026, opposite Saint Theresa Catholic Church, and will serve as a rallying point for all Abba indigenes, both at home and in the diaspora, to come together in peace, love, and celebration.

As part of the buildup to this grand event, there will be a Pre-Carnival Health Walk and Free Medical Checks on 31st December 2025. The health walk will also serve as an avenue to sensitize and inform people about the upcoming carnival while promoting fitness and community wellness.

It will be a day of culture, colour, and creativity, featuring:

Traditional and contemporary music

Cultural and masquerade performances

Fashion and cooking competitions

Youth empowerment and talent showcases

Awards and recognition for community excellence

Food, fun, and fireworks to crown the celebration

Health walk

Beyond the festivities, this carnival represents a movement for unity and renewal, and also a platform for our youth to express creativity, showcase our culture, and project Abba as a rising hub for tourism and innovation in Imo State and beyond.

To achieve this dream, we humbly call on all Abba sons and daughters, individuals, families, community groups, and organizations to join hands with us.

Your prayers, support, sponsorship, and active participation will help bring this vision to life and leave a lasting legacy for the next generation.

Together, let us make “The New Dawn” a true reflection of who we are, a people bound by culture, unity, peace, and love.

May this new dawn mark the beginning of greater things for Abba Ancient Kingdom.
