Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has emphasized that Chelsea is not solely reliant on one player, despite Cole Palmer being a significant doubt for their upcoming Premier League clash.
Arteta pointed out that Chelsea boasts quality players across the pitch, indicating their depth and versatility.
Cole Palmer, Chelsea’s top scorer this season, with 23 goals in all competitions, is uncertain for the match due to an illness.
Although Palmer was seen with strapping around his left thigh before Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City, the club later clarified that his absence could be due to illness rather than injury.
In Arteta’s words;
“I don’t know… we have no control over their availability. We only have control over ours.”
“Whatever they put out, when you look at the squad, the quality that they have, it’s great.”
“I think they are doing very, very well and much better than people say. It will be a tough match, for sure.”
