Nigerian dancehall singer Joshua Iniyezo, better known as Solidstar is currently having a faceoff with his former record label boss Paul Cole Chiori aka Ossy Achievas.
The ‘Omotena‘ crooner recently called out his former boss Ossy for owing him royalties made from his music. Solidstar was signed to Achievas Music for the past 10 years and parted ways with the company last year in 2019.
Prior to what fans may have thought was a smooth transition from Achievas Music to Shaba Entertainment, Solidstar and his former record label boss still have an axe to grind.
In response, Ossy Achievas came out to say that indeed he owes Solidstar nothing has he is yet to recoup on his investment over the past 10 years. He said Solidstar didn’t make 10% of about N100 million invested into his career.
To set the records straight, Solidstar listed out some of his hit tunes over the years which were all released under Achievas Music clearly stating he has made over N200 million for the company.
