At about 0142 hours (1.42 am) of Saturday 11-01-2020, Anambra State fire Service received distress of fire outbreak at Old Motor Spare Parts Market, Mgbuka, obosi.
Immediately, we deployed our fire trucks and firefighters to the scene to fight the fire. There was no loss of life during the fire outbreak as the fire outbreak is under control.
The cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be ascertained.
The fire outbreak was much due to the nature of things they sell there which are mainly flammable materials. With the application of our chemical foam compound, we were able to fight and control the fire.
